Supermoms!

Mondays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am*

*Supermoms meets September-May and will follow Webb City’s school calendar and snow schedule.

Colic, ear infections, teething, unexpected fevers, late nights, early mornings, laundry, spilled grape juice, potty training, tantrums, loneliness.

There is no doubt that being a mother of a preschooler can seem overwhelming. The daily responsibilities and routines quickly grow monotonous. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to who shares similar daily struggles.

If you are a new mother or mother of preschoolers, Supermoms is where you need to be. This weekly gathering will provide mothers a safe place to share the joys and frustrations of mothering preschoolers.

Supermoms is designed to:
* encourage friendships with other moms
* motivate you in your own Bible study
* provide tools to help you teach your children about God

Each Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 am, there will be time for food and fellowship, devotions, discussion, and special speakers on topics including: first aid, self defense, music for kids, etc. Child care will be provided for newborns through Kindergarten.

You are invited to participate in Supermoms this semester as we study the beloved Old Testament stories we learned as children. Each week we will take a closer look at the lives of Noah, Elijah, Jonah, etc. and the lessons they learned, which are important for us to remember. We will also be discussing ways to creatively teach our children about these Old Testament heroes throughout routine daily tasks. (For example: who knew the laundry basket could easily be converted into Noah’s Ark?) This fall we will also be starting a memory verse program for those children involved with Supermoms ages 2- 5. Once a month we will have speaker or special event planned.

“Stay at home moms need a group like Supermoms.”

“I love this group because we get together and share our lives together. I can’t think of any other organization where a perfect group of strangers can get together and within minutes we’ve bonded and become friends for life. We talk about anything from discipline, potty training, holiday traditions, birthing techniques, marriage, toddlerhood and scrapbooking. We swap recipes, share prayer requests, talk about each other’s joys and frustrations about being moms and then discuss what the Bible says about how to be a Godly wife and mother. These women care. Moms need other moms. Moms need a group like Supermoms.”
