Why We Exist…

C3 exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Who We Are…

We are a gathering of people who realize that we need Jesus.

What We Do…

We make disciples of Jesus who are:

  • Growing by studying and applying the Word of God.

  • Gathering together for worship, encouragement, and accountability.

  • Giving their time, giftedness, and resources towards kingdom efforts.

  • Going with the Gospel across the street and across the border.

  • We believe that God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the creator and sustainer of all things.

We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God (John 1:1; 14) who was born of the virgin Mary (Matt. 1:23), lived a sinless life (2 Cor. 5:21), and died as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10). We believe that Jesus rose in bodily form on the third day just as he said he would do, that he appeared to his disciples, and ascended to the right hand of the Father in Heaven (1 Cor. 15:3-4). And we believe that Jesus will return and will judge the living and the dead. (John 16:7-15)

We believe the Holy Spirit, who is fully God, is given to all believers to sustain and encourage, to guide and convict. (John 16:7-15)

  • We believe the Word is inspired by God and without error. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

We believe the Bible is the Word of God given to the church as the final authority by which we are to live our lives. (Is. 40:8)

We believe that the Word is useful for every disciple to be equipped for good work. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

We believe that the Word guides us. (Ps. 119:105)

  • We believe that all people have sinned and are in need of salvation through Jesus alone. (Rom. 3:23)

We believe that Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus (Eph. 2:8-9)

We believe that faith is expressed through hearing the Good News, believing in Jesus as God’s Son, confessing him as Lord and our need for his work on the cross, repenting of our sin, being immersed in the waters of baptism, and living an obedient life to Jesus and his Word. (Acts 2:38)

We believe that those who have put their faith in Jesus will inherit eternal life and those who do not will be eternally separated from him. (Rom 6:23) We believe that just as a believer chooses to receive this free gift of salvation, a person can also reject this gift. (Heb. 6:4-6)

We believe that those who have put their faith in Jesus now belong to a new kingdom, with a new and full way of life. (Matt. 13:44-46; John 10:10)

We believe that those who are saved have been commissioned to share the Gospel and make disciples. (Matt. 28:18-20)

  • We believe that the Bible teaches us that God created all people in his image and therefore all life is sacred from conception to death. (Gen. 1:27)

We believe that the Bible teaches us that all people are created with unique gifts and talents to be used for the glory of God and the benefit of others. (Ps. 8:3-6; 1 Cor. 12)

We believe that the Bible teaches us that God established marriage in the beginning as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between a man and a woman. (Matt. 19:5-6)

  • We believe that the Church is the body and bride of Jesus on Earth. (Eph. 5:21-33)

We believe that God has established his church to carry out his mission of making disciples of all nations. (Matt. 28:18-20)

We believe that it is God’s design for local elders to shepherd the church by caring for the people and protecting the doctrine of the church. (1 Tim. 3:1-7; 1 Pet. 5:1-4)

We believe that all followers of Jesus should be active participants of a local church through partaking in the Lord’s Supper, Fellowship, Worship, and meeting the needs of each other. (Acts 2:42-47)
